Shaundra is the youngest of four, and the only girl and all four of them live at the family home in the Pacific Northwest somewhere, because that's where the Pack lives. Their parents died some time back, and everyone moved back just to get things squared away, but no one ever really left again, just the way things go, sometimes. The same way she's Shaundra instead of Shaun, because her folks had been expecting another boy.

They also have a band. Just for fun. Shaundra's the drummer, but also plays what she calls 'douchebag guitar' which is to say she knows a couple chords, but no real songs, though she can pick out a melody fairly easily. She can sing, but has to be coaxed into it, or have enough to drink, which is sometimes the same thing.

She works as a waitress at the diner in town, usually the late shift, because being a Shifter, she's stronger than she looks and while she won't start trouble, she'll definitely finish it if it comes her way.

The family is all were-leopards, though Shaundra is a snow leopard, as the species is genetic, though a snow leopard hasn't happened for a couple generations, she blames being born blonde, though there's probably no actual connection between the two.
